Play for €500,000 in MPN's Classic tournament series

Players at Stan James and RedKings can take part in this winter's €500,000 guaranteed tournament series brought to you by the MPN.

This January and February, our two MPN rooms, RedKings and Stan James, will both be hosting the network’s popular no nonsense, No Limit Hold ‘em Freezeout tournament series, known simply as The Classic.

The €500,000 guaranteed series will run from January 28 to February 25 and you can view the schedule in the forum, linked below.

This year’s series takes place over two levels. The lower buy-in Mini Classic will run from January 28 through February 11, putting up €45,000 in prizes with entries as low as €1. Running alongside this from February 11 are The Classic Main Events which will take place until February 25, offering another €450,000 in guarantees.

The Classic Millionaire Freeroll

Series highlights include The Classic Millionaire Freeroll which takes place on February 27 at 19:00 (GMT) with a once in a lifetime trip to Monaco for two to play for. Here, every player who makes it to a final table will be eligible to play, with the overall winner being crowned the Classic Hero before walking away with an Achievement Badge they can show off when they get to Monte Carlo.

Participating players’ starting chip stack size will depend on their final position in the series events and/or how many final tables they have reached. Players can boost their stack size by final tabling multiple times. In the case of making more than one final table, starting chip amounts will be added together.

Starting chips are awarded according to finishing positions as follows:

• 1st: 3,000
• 2nd: 3,000
• 3rd: 3,000
• 4th: 2,000
• 5th: 2,000
• 6th: 2,000
• 7th: 1,000
• 8th: 1,000

Each player who bubbles a Mini Classic event will be granted entry to the Mini Bubble Bursters Freeroll on February 13 at 19:00 (GMT) where €1,000 worth of Classic Main Event tickets can be won. Plus, burst the bubble in a Classic Main Event and you will win entry into the Bubble Bursters Freeroll on February 27 at 19:00 (GMT) worth €2,500 in cash prizes.
