$12.5M Sunday Million starting tonight

Aiming to match the record-breaking prize pool of last year with a $215 buy-in, PokerStars is once again hosting what's traditionally one of the biggest events of the year.

Last year it became one of the biggest tournaments in poker history, so what will the 15th Anniversary of the Sunday Million hold for us this year?

This Sunday, March 21 at 18:00 CET they will host the landmark event with a $215 buy-in and $12.5 million guaranteed. 

It will be a three day event with 5 re-entries possible and late registration until the start of Day 2 on Monday. 

In 2020 the Sunday Million Anniversary event attracted 93,016 entries and created a prize pool of $18,603,200. The eventual winner AAAArthur of Brazil turned a $4 satellite win into $1,192,802 after a four way chop. It was the biggest Sunday Million in poker history. 

The large numbers were due to the fact that the world had just been put into lockdown. Although the future is looking comparatively brighter this time around, we aren't out of it yet and we could see similar numbers this weekend.

Satellite into the highlight event

Throughout the day, PokerStars is still offering players of any level a wide range of ways to get into the highlight tournament of the year for a fraction of the cost.
