The WCOOP Main Event starts today (again)

After a DDoS attack cancelled the original WCOOP Main Events back in October, PokerStars is restarting their highlight tournaments of the year with $2.5M in additional guarantees.

After a DDoS attack cancelled the original WCOOP Main Events back in October, PokerStars didn't need a second invitation to up the ante in the rescheduled WCOOP Finale starting this Saturday, November 5.

WCOOP Take 2 will feature a total of 22 events across the established three buy-in tiers—High, Medium, and Low. Buy-ins start at just $5.50, so no matter what your bankroll or style, there's something in store for everyone.

Across five action-packed days from November 5-9, over $25,000,000 in prizes are guaranteed, with all the rescheduled events featuring the same structure and same number of days, however as a form of compensation for the cancellation, all the WCOOP Main Events in No-Limit Hold'em will all have significantly increased guarantees.

Additionally, there's a whole set of juicy side events scheduled during the revamped WCOOP Finale, including a $109 Bigger on November 6 with $250K GTD as well as three Women's Events with $5.50, $22 and $109 buy-ins.
