Two community tournaments on Sunday
The time has come! On Sunday we will host 2 community tournaments, on the one hand the Omaha kick-off tournament and on the other hand a NL tournament.
First, we
finally have our kick-off tournament for the Omaha section. Second, we
will stage our first English NL community tournament.
You have decided when and where it takes place. Here are the results:
Most of our member, 18.4% voted for Sunday, 9.6% for Saturday, 4% for
Wednesday, 2.8% for Monday, 2.4% for Thursday and 1.6% for Friday.
Concerning the platform on which the tournaments are taking place it
was a close race. 14.8% of our members prefered PartyPoker, followed by
14.4% each for Titan Poker and PokerStars. 12% voted for Full Tilt
Poker and 3.6% for Mansion Poker.

While we will try to also host future community tournaments on other popular platforms, our first two tournaments will take place at 20:00 CET on Sunday at PartyPoker. As promised there will be bounties on the admins who will also be participating in the tournaments.

Buy-In for the Tournament is: $5
In addition to the regular prize pool we will throw on top:
- First place: Hoody of choice + T-Shirt of choice + PokerStrategy Card deck
- Second Place: Polo of choice + Card Deck
- Third Place: T-shirt of Choice + Card Deck
Additionally: T-shirt + Card deck for whoever eliminates one of the admins from the tournament.

Battle it out for guts and glory. Who will be able to crown themselves victor of the first English community tournament? In order to test for future weekly tournaments and leagues we will be hosting a NL $2 tournament on PartyPoker at the same time as the Omaha tournament. The tournament can be found under Tournaments -> Specials -> Pokerstrategy NL Hold'em.
If enough interest exists we will consider turning the tournaments into a weekly event including league rankings.
In addition to the regular prize pool and the glory, there are bounties on both of the administrators. Knock us out and choose a T-shirt.
