PokerStrategy Weekly Strategy Round-up

Ranging from NL $200 SH user review to MTTs and SnGs, a variety of videos have been released this week. Silver members will also be able to enjoy our new article dedicated to small pocket pairs in NL Hold'em.

PokerStrategyOur veteran NL BSS video producer hasenbraten has recorded this week a
user review from a gold community member. He reviews four NL $200
short-handed tables played on PokerStars, first explaining the stats
and then proceeding with many insights on the member's play that make
this nearly 40 minute video worth-while to watch.

jonathanlittle has also been quite active, releasing a new SnG live
session in which he plays four full-ring SnGs with buy-ins ranging from
$27 to $209. The recently interviewed terrorblade (read more here)
doesn't just like to sing in a choir but also records his FL sessions.
This week he made a video for bronze members in which he plays four FL
$0.25/$0.50 full-ring tables on PokerStars, in other words an ideal
video for those who are making their first steps into the Fixed Limit
realm.

Quizzes, articles and other updates

Slowplaying monsters can be as disapointing as a classical childhood question "Can you buy me an ice-cream?" and the answer comes from a parent, "It's not summer yet."
So when can you slowplay your monster hands? The key is of course in
picking your spots carefully and the best way to find out how well can
you spot  and use a good opportunity is to take this week's quiz:

Test your knowledge on slowplay in the quiz of the week

We have also released this week two articles which will help you improve your play with small pocket pairs and answer many questions related to such hands in unraised pots. If you are an NL Hold'em player and wish to find out more about small pocket pairs, then all you need is silver rank to read the newly added articles:
