First Black Member in the English Community
Coach, blogger, video producer and community favourite twicet is now officially the first ever Black Member to come from the English Community. His achievement is truly a great one and deserves all the congratulations, that all of you can give.
In celebration of his new found status, twicet has put up an awesome posting on our forums, detailing how he managed to achieve this great poker feat and also dishes out some great advice for others who dream to do the same. If you've not read it, you most definitely cannot afford to miss it.

This week, we welcome back an "old" community member, who has decided to pick up his dusty old keyboard, and start blogging again! from Switzerland, used to be a coach and hand judge in our community, but decided to take a break from poker to pursue his other love, skiing. He is now back!

Hot Poker Thread of the Week
pocketacesjohn started this week's featured thread, to talk about something many poker players fret about, their "red lines" or non-showdown winnings. The discussion focuses more specifically on the short-handed game, but everyone cash game player should definitely drop by to have a read and preferably join in the discussion.
He starts off the discussion by saying, "we all know alot of winning players have negative non show down winning and are constantly told, dont worry about it, its fine." PocketAcesJohn then asks: "what is an acceptable amount to be losing (BB/100) for your Non SD winnings and at what point does losing more than you should come into play?" If you have some insights to his query, don't hesitate to share it with everyone in the thread:

New Community Members this Week
This week we welcome two new Scandinavian members, one of them however has moved to South-East Asia, and is now living in Malaysia. Here are a few of the new members who have joined us recently, please say hi to:

We are truly sorry for not being able to name everyone, but rest assured that even if your name did not make it to our weekly list, you are still a cherished part of our community! Performances of the Week
This week marks week 34 of our challenge, and it has been a relatively slow week in terms of the number of results that have been put up. If you have not done so, now is a great time to join our $1 million in a year chase by posting your results in the thread found below. Nonetheless, a few of our members have posted up some stellar performances.
Here are a few highlights from this week:
- saywhat cashed in a $5k GTD tournament on Mansion Poker
- kennyxx won a $80 in a freeroll on Full Tilt Poker
- badpinguin won a couple a of seats to the Double Deuce on Full Tilt Poker
- tspill earned $144 after coming first in a knockout style tournament.
