Football Promotion with William Hill and double SPs
Just in time for the World Cup, PokerStrategy.com and William Hill are hosting a joint football promotion in which you can win many prizes from our shop. Find out how you can participate here.
From June to July, the World Cup takes place in South Africa. On this occasion, PokerStrategy.com presents to you a football promotion in collaboration with William Hill, sponsor of the Black Member Event in Cologne. During the course of this promotion, you will get the opportunity to make predictions for the World Cup matches in South Africa.

How do I participate?
PokerStrategists of Bronze status and higher simply click on "Place Bets", answer questions such as "Who will win the World Cup" and predict the results for each game. The goal is to collect as many points as possible in order to win one of many different prizes from our shop.

Earning points
You will receive points if you successfully predict a result or if you correctly answer questions such as "Who will win the World Cup?".
Here is how the points will be distributed:
- 2 points for correctly predicting your team's result (draw or win)
- 3 points for correctly predicting either a win/loss and the goal difference (e.g. your prediction: 2:1; end of match score: 3:2; not applicable for draws)
- 4 points for correctly predicting the end of match score
- 4 points for each correctly answered question.

You find the promotion by clicking on "Home" and then on the newly added button "Football Promotion" on the very right. This will directly take you to the game and you can start making your predictions for the World Cup matches in South Africa.
Double StrategyPoints and $50,000 Rake Race
Following the Black Member Party in Cologne, which is sponsored by William Hill, you can earn double 
StrategyPoints from 7.6.2010 to 7.7.2010 at our partner room.
This means that you will receive 10 instead of the usual 5 StrategyPoints for every dollar of rake generated.
These points count towards your status - you will not only reach a higher rank in a shorter period of time, you will also enable additional content like coaching sessions, articles and videos.
Also, William Hill will host a Rake Race with a total prize pool of $50,000 as well as a freeroll for first depositors with a prize pool of $10,000.
