Today we announce another of our specially tailored coaching courses. Every week at the same time one of our coaches will be focussing on a specific topic for a whole month, in order to deeply improve your understanding of it.
Starting next week our SNG expert
akrammon will be hosting a weekly
Silver+ course dedicated to that crucial stage of SNGs, the bubble!
Most solid players have a good understanding of ICM and the bubble, but few understand it really well. In a game of fine edges, master of the bubble is crucial.
In this short course we will look at spots from the basics to really weird high risk-averse situations. Emphasis will be put to the understanding of the "hows" and "whys" and the mechanics of ICM instead of memorising countless Nash tables.
This course is perfect for players between the $3.50 and $15 level.
Bubble Basics with akrammon
• April 13: Know your basics! What is EV, what is ICM? What's the difference between chip-EV and $EV? Seemingly simple questions that are hard to thoroughly answer. Lot of example hands (not only bubble).
• April 20: Playing as the bigstack. What's our advantage and why, how can we use our stack to abuse others? What are the common mistakes that we make as a bigstack on the bubble? What do we have to be careful about?
• April 27: Playing as the midstack on the bubble. How to approach this situation, when can we take over as a bully, when do we have to hide and just wait to drift into the money? What are the common mistakes and how to avoid them?
• May 4: Playing as the shortstack. When should we start becoming really desperate? Surprisingly, our stack has some advantages - what are these, and how can we use them? What are the common mistakes and how to avoid them?
Ahead of that course which starts next week, he has a special introductory coaching session for
Silver+ members tonight from 16:00 CET answering all your SNG questions to give you a taster of what to expect.
