"Was that call a misclick?"

Hungarian community member norris80 found himself the focus point of this week's biggest debate in our poker boards.
Playing in an iPoker, $0.25 / $0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash game for six players, he was dealt with

. Armed with this hand, was our man right to call preflop? He called again on the flop, before checking on the turn before folding on a last minute UTG raise.
The cards fell as follows;

, meaning our guy was left holding two pair but the damage was long done leaving our hero empty handed, while UTG took the pot.
Well, as ever, the boards lit up with discussion. pastagusti felt for sure that "calling" on the preflop was a mistake, an unfortunate click of the mouse. After all, he would have bet again on the turn.
Although another member, regie, would have folded immediately but agreed with the way our hero played the rest of the hand once he was comitted to it. If the situation looked expolitable, bogec84 would only call preflop, but agrees with the decisions made thereafter.

Last Week's Poll Results
Remember last week's River poll when wealthybrainer mucked at the very last minute with AA? Well, the communites have all had their say.
The majority of PokerStrategists, 63% in fact, would have chosen to check/call, leaving 27% that would bet/fold and the remaining 10% of voters check/folding. Breaking down the data, it seems that the tightest among you were from the Czech community, 15% of whom would opted to check/fold.
Far more passive are the Italians who overwhelmingly (80%) voted to check/call, as opposed to the action loving members of our German community, 35% of which would have bet in the same situation.
Finally, of the 41 Spanish voters, none would have check/folded.
