Should I call with just bottom pair?

Take a look at this Spin & Go hand of the week and see how you would play it.

We’ve given the usual hand of the week discussion a spin (pun very much intended) this week as we would like to present to you the following hand as played on a PokerStars Spin & Go table and provided by our partners at SpinLegends.

Poker Hand

What we know: Hero is holding & and the flop had given them a , & . The turn provided a and finally, the river sent out a .

Having called flop and turn, BB changes tact at the river and overbets, going all-in. Could he simply be trying to steal the pot?

Hero, the only other player remaining in the hand, had checked at this point having initially led the betting all the way to the river.

Now though, what is the best move? Step up, be a hero and call or fold and drop out?

Last Week Poll Results

OK, so last week we gave you the hand from French community member yvan161 in which he had pocket aces and lost the pot having called where others would have folded.

Poll Results

Well, like yvan161, almost all of the countries voted for the Call option, even if the results were very close in some communities. In fact, Hungary was the only country where the fold option was clearly winning and, with a 63%-37% percentage, was one of the more one sided community votes.
