Probably the most important concept to understand in finance is compound interest. That is the interest that you accrue on interest. Understanding could mean you retire early, not understanding it can lead to never ending debt.
Compound interest shows up quite overtly at the poker tables, the more money you win, the higher stakes you can play, meaning you can win even more money. But perhaps a better takeaway from this video is that it can apply in life as well as money. The more skills you accrue, the more opportunities you can take advantage of. Success begets succes, in poker, health and life.
