Satellite strategy with Barry Carter

In a new video our editor plays a UKPC satellite on GGPoker where the payout structure kept changing throughout the tournament.

In a rare strategy video, our editor Barry Carter brings a hand review from a satellite he played recently. 

It was a £60 direct satellite to the UK Poker Championships at Dusk Till Dawn, played on GGPoker. 

This satellite was unique because it looked like it was going to only offer one seat, so the correct strategy was ChipEV cash game style. However, towards the end, a second seat was almost generated, and a prize for 2nd and 3rd place was added. 

In this video, Barry discusses the different strategies for winner-takes-all satellites, traditional satellites, and ones which are more like a top-heavy SNG, which this one was.

He also discusses exploits when there is a disconnected player and players who do not understand the ICM significance of the satellite format.
