EPT San Remo day 1B
On day 1B of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour, around 350 players were sitting at the tables of the San Remo casino again.
Johannes Strassmann survived the first day and has managed to get an above average chip count with about 48.000 chips. His greatest success sofar in any EPT was his 6th place at the EPT-event in Dortmund last January. Jan Heitmann had an even better day. With 91.000 chips, he can start his second day big stacked. Heitman also had his best EPT-result in Dortmund. He finished 19th.
Of the international pro's, Antonio Esfandiari (56,000), William Thorson (50,000), Marc Goodwin (36.000), Juha Helppi (31,000) and Todd Brunson (23,300) continued to the second day.
Daniel Negreanu survived his first day as well. Though he is quite short with approximately 10.000 chips, he is still doing better than most other team PokerStars players.
Noah Boeken and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, who you can find at every EPT-event, were eliminated early. Lee Nelson didn't sit at the tables very long and Isabelle Mercier and Vanessa Rousso couldn't hold out either.
Meanwhile, the exact payout-structures were announced. The total prize pool is € 3,195,860. The winner takes € 869,000 and a total of 72 places are being paid out.
