The EPT a guest in PragueItaly sent the most players to the Golden City, and so it isn't really a surprise that the final table is also dominated by Italians. Three players, namely Salvatore Bonavena, Francesco Cirianni and Massimo
Di Cicco, represent the Southern European country in today's finale.

Especially the performance by Salvatore Bonavena amazed many in the tournament room. He started the day as short stack with only 36,500 chips, but then doubled through twice against PokerStars.de ShootingStar Sebastian
Ruthenberg, which set him up for a run leading him to rank 1 in the chip count. At the end of the day, Bonavena ended up with an incredible 1,402,000 in chips.

Even aces for the German Nasr couldn't stop the Italian. With kings he cracked the pocket rockets when another king appeared on the board.

No Luck for Allanon85

Sebastian Ruthenberg Final Table Bubble Boy

Luckbox Sebastian Ruthenberg
Sebastian Ruthenberg (picture on the left) will probably not spend his next vacation in Italy. Not only did the young German put Bonavena back into the competition, he also fell victim to another Italian at the most important bubble.

Bonavena put Ruthenberg all-in after a re-raise by the German, but the latter one decided to fold. Sebastian, who was short-stacked now, then tried his luck with , but Massimo Di Cicco behind him found .
The board didn't help the PokerStars.de player who finished the tournament with €42,800 and the inglorious title of Final Table Bubble Boy.
