EPT Deauville: French Dominate Final Table
Half of the field of entrants was French, so it should hardly be a surprise that the chip leader of the final table is a Frenchman as well: The 19-year old Tristin Clemencon.

When the final table of the PokerStars
European Poker Tour Deauville 2009 kicks off today at 14:00 CET, it could very well end with a local hero grabbing the win. 5 of the 8 seats were taken by French players, and the chip leader is the only 19-year old Tristin Clemencon with 1,731,000 in chips. A stack which even surpasses the combined sum of his fellow countrymen.
The chip leader of Day 3, Moritz Kranich from Germany (picture on the left), is his closest pursuer with 1,434,000 chips, who experiences his biggest live success so far. For rank 8, he would already receive €77,400, but after his impressive run yesterday, it wouldn't surprise anybody if he moved up a few places. The winner will receive €851,400, and with the blinds being at 10,000 / 20,000 (ante 2,000), the German is able to play with a rather deep stack.
Italy will be represented by the third-biggest stack, currently held by Andrea Benelli (1,195,000 chips), and the Netherlands also have a shot at the win with Jorn Walthaus (539,000 chips).
EPT veterans David 'Devilfish' Ulliot, Ivo Donev and Mika Paasonen were all eliminated before the final table. Bubble boy was Jan Meinberg.
This time, there will be no live stream, but PokerStars.TV will offer each fan a webcast with the highlights of the EPT Deauville at 23:40 CET this evening. Certainly a highlight for each poker fan, as the hole cards of the players will be shown as well.
