February featured amazing results by some and less amazing falls by others. In overall, losses weren't as bad as the ones in January, but the up and down swings continue to rock players' bankrolls with No Limit Hold'em taking most of the big casualties, namely Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius.

February 2009 brought many changes, the biggest ones being Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius going from top of the winners list down to the losers list. Most of the top pros recorded losses in No Limit Hold'em, including Phil Ivey who went down by almost $1 million. Tom "durrrr" Dwan had his share of losses in February but with all eyes turned to his challenge, does he really care?

The Great Dane to lead them all...well not this time. Gus Hansen (picture) may have been on top of the charts in January (read more here), but now someone else has taken
over that spot. According to Highstakesdb, trex313 has made the most
profit in February, being up by over $1.9 million across 329 sessions
and 17316 hands.

Following him close behind with $1.7 million
profit is Mark Vos, the man whose style has been criticised by many and
loved by few. His profit came from 346 sessions and 5403 hands.

Two
more notable names are lurking on the winners chart. One of them is Sami
"LarsLuzak" Kelopuro, who dominated the No Limit Hold'em tables, earning
$1.5 million in February, but his great success is shrouded by his
losses in other games which made him lose more than half of this profit.

Second notable name is the player who is considered by many to be the
best, Phil Ivey (picture). Well, even the greatest have their falls and that is
what happened to Ivey in No Limit Hold'em where he lost almost $1
million. Losing a million certainly hurts, but he did make up for it in
other games and managed to end the month of February up by over
$450,000.

There is one more name attracting a lot of attention, __FullFlush1__ who
is almost 100% confirmed to be U.K. player Luke Schwartz. He was the
second biggest earner in No Limit Hold'em, winning almost $850,000. His
total profit for February is nearly $950,000 across 176 sessions and
21,198 hands.

You don't have to win them all, but it sure helps you to win something.
Patrik Antonius just couldn't get chips flowing the way he wanted,
ending February down by over $500,000 with No Limit Hold'em to be
blamed for his losses. Perhaps he is busy with the durrrr Challenge
but he did play a fair share of 18,810 hands in 299 sessions.

In January, Antonius was second on the list of top 10 winners, right
behind the craziest but absolutely sane poker mind Gus Hansen. Hansen
earned over $3 million in January, but February has put him on the
losers list as he unwillingly grabbed the 10th place with over $450,000
in losses.

King of the losers, nobody likes to be it and this time the crown fell to luckexpress10, who lost $1.3 million across 274 sessions and 13,408 hands. Close behind him is OnTheRize, who managed to do almost the same with 68 sessions and 6,287 hands played as he lost nearly $1.15 million.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan recorded an average (for him) $307,000 profit in No Limit Hold'em but ended February on the losers list overall, as he went down by over $750,000 across 451 sessions and 286,777 hands.
