$500K Guaranteed at Borgata
Prior to this year's World Series Of Poker, the Borgata Casino and Spa will offer a $500K Guaranteed tournament which will start on the 17th of May.
With the World Series of Poker (WSOP) kicking off at the end of May, poker players will want every opportunity to practice. The esteemed Borgata Casino and Spa is offering a $500,000 Guaranteed Deep Stack Tournament, one sure to draw a large field.
The Borgata Casino has grown into one of the premier poker destinations on the east coast of the United States. In March, the Borgata hosted its second ever $500,000 Guaranteed tournament, where over 900 competitors flocked to take part in the action. The prize pool inflated to $1.374 million.
Satellites will begin on May 10 and continue until the first day of the event. The buy-in is $1,500+$150 and the field is certain to add to many players' bankrolls. Satellites begin at $165+$35 where every ten players lead to one satellite entry. The next round of satellites take place on May 15, where $330+$50 leads to a one in five chance of making the $500K.
Whether through satellites or direct buy-ins, players will congregate at the Borgata Casino on May 17-18 for the action. There are two Day 1s as the field will surely fill the poker rooms. The deep stack format provides 300 big blinds at the start of the tournament. The champion is guaranteed over six figures, but the chance of this tournament netting well over $500K is quite likely.
