Hellmuth's New Book: "Deal Me In"
A new book has been released commemorating 20th anniversary of Phil Hellmuth's Main Event win in 1989. The book features 20 poker pros telling their stories, including likes of Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson or Chris Ferguson.
The WSOP Main Event in 1989 saw a 24 year-old Phil Hellmuth becoming the youngest Main Event winner, but last year Danish poker pro Peter Eastgate put an end to that record, as he won Ivan Demidov in heads-up to take $9.1 million first prize at the age of 22.
Even though his record has been shattered, Phil Hellmuth is not likely to miss commemorating 20th anniversary of his astonishing achievement, as such a brand new book "Deal Me In" has been released.
The book features 20 poker pros telling their stories, including Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Jennifer Harman, Scotty Nguyen, Allen Cunningham, Chris Ferguson, Daniel Negreanu and Erik Seidel. Three young stars are also profiled in the book, namely Annette Obrestad, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Peter Eastgate.
