Event #2: 40th Annual $40,000 NL Hold'em, PokerNoob busted.

Thursday Tobias "Pokernoob" Reinkemeier started off in the $40k event facing a very tough field with lots of big names. His table was no exception, as he was joined by Mike Matusow, Canada's best Jason Mercier and 2008 Player of the Year Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

PokerNoob was not really intimidated and even managed to pull off a couple of bluffs early on. Unfortunately, he faced a few bad beats later on which were enough to bust him out of the tournament.

Coming up: Event #4, Nazgul is going for his first bracelet!

There's not much time to mourn about PokerNoob's exit because this Saturday, Nazgul is going to play the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em (Event 4). This tournament promises to be a unique event as it has the lowest buy-in of all the NL tournaments at the WSOP. Therefore, close to 5,000 people are expected to play in this tournament.

Let's hope Tim "Nazgul" Kahlmeyer gets the luck he needs when he uses his skills to try and get to the Final Table.

He knew he couldn't hide it forever. It was only a matter of time before we'd find out the real reason why Robbie wanted to go to Vegas. It wasn't the playboy bunnies in his hotel lobby, it wasn't the bikini girls at the pool, it was hot poker babe Vanessa Rousso. As this picture doesn't really show much of her beauty, I dared Robbie to go out there and ask her if she wants to be photographed with him. Unless he chickens out, we'll bring you more on that later. In the meantime, you can enjoy the following picture:

Getting a picture with Rousso is not the only thing Robbie's going to do for us. He's going to walk around the casino with a bag of gadgets and a black marker. His mission is to get all of these gadgets signed by professional poker players. To decide who of you will win some of this stuff, there will be a few guessing games involved, but more on that later. Instead of giving me some updates, the fellows of Team PokerStrategy have spent most of their time partying and getting drunk with other players. And who can blame them, it's still Vegas!

Also, Nazgul went out shopping today and according to Robbie, Nazgul buys an average of 50 items per hour, disregarding the price tags.

There will be a lot of updates following once they sobered up including, but not exclusive: More on what Nazgul bought at Vegas, more on their stay at the hotel. Lots and I mean lots of pictures, poker gossip on the other pros and, as mentioned above, signatured gadgets to give away and last but not least, we'll hopefully get to see a picture of Robbie and Vanessa.
