WPT Merit Cyprus Classic Day 4: Jonathan Little is second
Jonathan Little finished second in chips after making a nice double up through Layne Flack. Flack follows closely in third while Rep Porter ended the day with an overwhelming lead.
After a short Day 4 session, just 10 players were left in the field at the WPT Merit Cyprus Classic. Asides from the eliminations of Antony Lellouche and
Joseph El Khoury the cast of the final 10 players remained largely unchanged from Day 3's top 10.
Rep Porter emerged as the overwhelming chip leader with almost 1.8 million chips, or just about a quarter of all the chips in play. jonathanlittle is in second place with almost a million chips while overnight chip leader Layne Flack is right behind and just 20,000 chips shy. Full Tilt Poker pro Huck Seed is fifth with 669,000 chips.
Little double through Flack
Halfway through the day, Jonathan Little was hovering around his starting stack of just under 400,000 chips. He was looking for a double up to put himself in serious contention for the win, and found his spot as he looked down at 
.
Little opened for 35,000 before Flack re-raised to 150,000. With the rest of the table out of the way, Little reluctantly moved all-in, and Flack put in roughly 200,000 more chips to call. With Flack holding 
, it was down to a race.
on the flop gave Flack a commanding lead, but the 
on the turn changed everything and Little was now looking at a nice double up. The 
on the river confirmed the result, and Little was staring down at a much more healthier looking stack.
Lellouche and Medic run into trouble
Things were looking up for Antony Lellouche at the end of Day 3 as he was 4th in chips. His luck took a turn for the worse however, and he could not find the cards to win a hand on Day 4. Down to a short stack, Lellouche went all in with 
but it was more bad news for him as Rep Porter called with . No help came on the board and Lellouche was out in 14th.
Nenad Medic was also in dire straits for most of the day but managed to stay alive to stay in contention for a final table spot. At one point, the Day 3 chip leader was down to just over 100,000 chips. He made a timely double up against Sefik Peltekci in a hand that pitted Medic's 
against Peltekci's dominated 
to see himself through Day 4.
The players will return on day 5 to play down to the final 6 before returning on Day 6 to decide who will walk away with the $579,165 prize. All 10 players now are guaranteed a minimum payout of $20,760.
