High Stakes Poker: durrrr Overall Winner in Season 6

In his second consecutive appearance on High Stakes Poker, Tom "durrrr" Dwan has once again left the building with more money than he had entered with. Eli Elezra and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier were two of the biggest contributors to that cause.

The last episode of GSN's High Stakes Poker Season 6 saw the stakes mount up to $500/$1,000 with a $300 ante. Lex Veldhuis was behind this idea, as he suggested raising the blinds and the players quickly agreed on how high they should be.

Doyle Brunson saw the rise in stakes as his chance to continue his winning streak in televised cash games. However, he was not the only player in the red at the table. Tom "durrrr" Dwan (pictured right) was also looking for an opportunity to claw his way out of the hole.

Elezra and Elky run into durrrr

While durrrr had been relatively quiet for the past few episodes, the last episode saw him tangle up in several big pots. The first big clash was against Eli Elezra and with both players being deep stacked, it didn't take long for a massive pot to build up.

durrrr's second big encounter was against Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier. The French pro was stuck in the red for this season and seemed eager to change that. However, in order to do so ElkY had a tough task in front of him - cracking durrrr's pocket aces.

Besides durrrr, Veldhuis was also seen in several big pots. One of such was against Doyle Brunson, who switched gears and fired two barrels in hopes of taking down the pot with a pure bluff. However, Veldhuis was not about to let go of his bottom pair that easily. You can check out that hand as well as the biggest hands durrrr took part in below:
