WSOP 2010: Three PokerStrategists Advance & Allanon Gives an Interview
Allanon and cYde advanced into Day 2 of Event #49 while psychobenny did the same in Event #50. After his day was over, Allanon gave an interview about his WSOP 2010 experience so far.

BongBob, Allanon (pictured right), Nazgul and RobbieV all hit the felt today in various events. Allanon, Nazgul and RobbieV took part in Event #49, and were joined by PokerStrategists innerpsycho, mongooserus, lederjoe, tsubi and cyde.
BongBob meanwhile busted out of the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em event just before the money, but was at the tables again not long after that. He signed up for the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha event along with psychobenny, and jan1000.
Day 2 of the Tournament of Champions also resumed today and a further 4 levels were played out. Besides that, two WSOP bracelets were awarded to Jesse Rockowitz who earned $721,373 for winning $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event and Chris Bell who took down the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event for $327,040.

Allanon, cYde and psychobenny progress
At the end of the day, Allanon, cyde (pictured left) and psychobenny all made it into Day 2 of their respective events. Allanon and cYde both enter Day 2 of Event #49 with 31,000 and 68,900 chips respectively, while psychobenny will start Day 2 of Event #50 with 63,200 chips.
Allanon and cyde are both very close to the money, as just 290 players are left in their event from the 2,543 entrants and 270 will make the money. First place in this event pays $609,493 and you can watch Allanon talk about his Day in an interview below.
Meanwhile psychobenny's event attracted 460 players and around 190 still remain. The top 45 finishers in this event will be paid, and the first prize payout here is worth $508,090.
Matusow leads Tournament of Champions
After Day 2 of this event, another 5 players were sent to the rails to take the field down to its final 17. Doyle Brunson, Joe Cada, Mike Sexton and Dan Harrington were the past champions who were sent to he rails. Qualifier Andrew Barton was also eliminated.
Mike "The Mouth" Matusow took over the chip lead from Erik Seidel today as Seidel actually lost chips on Day 2 to drop to 6th. Matusow currently has 85,500 chips and Huck Seed is second with 73,000 chips. The next levels of this event is currently scheduled for July 3, where the final 17 return to play down to 9 players. The Champion of Champions will then be revealed after the final table on July 4.
