Liv Boeree joins Team PokerStars Pro

As PokerStars just announced, the 26-year old British poker player will join the professional team of PokerStars with immediate effect.

With EPT London right around the corner, Team PokerStars Pro has added a new face to its roster. British poker player Liv Boeree will join the team with immediate effect, joining the ranks of other female poker players on the team such as Vanessa Rousso and Sandra Naujoks. Other notables on Team PokerStars Pro include Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein and Jason Mercier.

The young Brit celebrated her breakthrough after the victory at EPT San Remo, where she finished first and took home nearly $1.7M. The arrival at Team PokerStars Pro also marks her departure from Team UltimateBet which she was previously part of.

She got in touch with poker through a reality TV show and eventually pursued a career as a professional poker player. She gathered attention not only through her favourable looks, but also through her degree in astrophysics and her taste for rock music.
