High Stakes Action: Big Win for Ziigmund, Isildur1 Keeps Losing
Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies is the biggest winner in the latest round of high stakes action, as he picked up $400k from the nosebleed Omaha Hi/Lo games. Isildur1 however, maintains his losing streak since his recent return.
The month of October is looking up again for Ziigmund, as he managed to recover about a third of his losses that he suffered to Tom "durrrr" Dwan just a few days ago. This time around, he decided to sit down on the $2,000/$4,000 Omaha Hi/Lo tables on Full Tilt Poker and finished the session up by $400k.
Meanwhile, durrrr showed up on the $2,000/$4,000 Limit Hold'em tables and played a session, mostly against O Fortuna PLS. The session did not go well for durrrr and he lost $316k there. He is however still the biggest winner for October with over $1 million in profits, while Ziigmund is still stuck $800k.
Isildur1 still struggling
Fans of Isildur1 will not be too happy to hear that their hero is still stuck in reverse, ever since he made his sudden reappearance on Full Tilt Poker several weeks ago. He has not been able to put together enough wins to move up the stakes and is still playing the $100/$200 and lower games.
In this latest session, he dropped $87k to KTPOKP at $100/$200 No Limit Hold'em, and then lost another $150k or 3,000 big blinds at $25/$50 PLO to bemyguestbud. Overall, he is down by around $200k in October.
