Full Tilt Update
Our friends at EGRMagazine today announced exclusive news that prospective investors are in negotiation with Full Tilt Poker with a view to buying ONLY their UK and Irish companies and European-facing licences.
A source close to FTP has commented on the situation as well as the London hearing, claiming that 'it could still be challenged and a sale could still be completed (between now and next Tuesday)'.
In other FTP news, EGR also report that Team Full Tilt member Phil Gordon has been dismissed of any responsibility from the class action suit filed against Full Tilt on the 30th June. His representatives confirmed this on the basis that Gordon 'never participated in any management decisions or operational roles at Full Tilt'. Read more about the FTP story here.
OMG it's Phil Ivey
Since Black Friday, poker superstar Phil Ivey has become somewhat of an enigma. Two months ago Ivey issued a damning verdict on Full Tilt Poker and a subsequent lawsuit was filed.
Ivey has since withdrawn his lawsuit on the grounds that FTP were making good progress in repaying player funds. He famously boycotted the WSOP this year, and hadn't been seen. Until now that is.

Ivey was spotted in the McCarran airport in Las Vegas about to board a flight to London this week. It's not clear where Ivey is headed but if you were a betting man you'd think it could be connected to FTP's impending hearing with the AGCC next week...
Ongame launches poker on Android
EGRMagazine broke the news that Ongame have launched a cash poker application for Android, with Bwin the first licensee to run the product live. Customers will be able to play only one table with stakes going up to $3/6 No Limit Hold'em, $5/5 Pot Limit Hold'em and $5/10 Limit Hold'em.
Ongame have described the app as a 'casual player product' which will be very much focused at the recreational player. Great news is that the product is not limited to Austria, France and the UK as is the case with their iPhone product.
Travnik triumphs in Slovenia
The WPT crowned its latest champion lat night in Slovenia as Miha Travnik bested Vincenzo Natale heads up to win the title and $144,399. The final table included high stakes pro Marcello Marigliano who finished 6th when his AT couldn't outrun overnight chip leader Johannes Korsar's JJ.
Korsar went on to finish 3rd, leaving Natale and Travnik to fight for top spot. Travnik chipped away steadily and the tournament concluded when his AJ held against Travnik's K8. You can read the full review over at WPT.
The next stop on the WPT is Legends of Poker at the Bicycle Casino in California.

Huggins under fire
The poker community has been transfixed on Jarred Huggins for the last couple of months. The once homeless alcoholic won the hearts of poker players and a seat into PokerStars TV show The Big Game.
His long awaited debut aired recently and his performance has been criticised by many. Seated with the likes of Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Selbst and Antonio Esfandiari, Huggins struggled to make an impression and some are even questioning his motives behind getting on the show.
It seems clear that Huggins has been rebuilding his troubled life and is one of the good guys. Is his scrutiny deserved? You can discuss watch the episodes and talk about Jarred over in our forum.
