Psychobenny Wins EPT London + Ganstarapper 3rd + Philbort Wins High Roller

The PokerStars EPT London has been a massive success for PokerStrategists. Benny 'psychobenny' Spindler and Andre 'Ganstarapper' Klebanov finished the Main Event in 1st and 3rd place respectively, and Philipp 'philbort' Gruissem won the High Roller event.

The PokerStars EPT London is in the books, and PokerStrategist Benny 'psychobenny' Spindler is the winner! Psychobenny bested a field of 691 players to win £750,000 and the title of EPT London Champion.

Heading into the final table, PokerStrategists had two players to cheer for- Spindler and Black Member Andre 'ganstarapper' Klebanov. Although we would have liked to see them reach the top 2 spots, we did get the next best thing with Ganstarapper finishing in 3rd place. He'll take home £265,000 for his excellent play this week.

The man who finished in between the two PokerStrategists was American poker pro Steve O'Dwyer. O'Dwyer is a solid player with over $1 million in live tournament earnings, but he was admittedly helped by quite a bit of luck at this table.

One such lucky hand lead to Klebanov's elimination, when O'Dwyer's made a runner-runner straight against Ganstarapper's .

In the final hand of the tournament O'Dwyer got all of his chips in preflop with against psychobenny's . When the cards were shown, O'Dwyer stated "I need another suckout," acknowledging some of the run-good that allowed him to get so far. Of course, no player can final table a 691 player tournament without luck on their side.

The board ran , and Benny 'psychobenny' Spindler was crowned champion.

Philbort & lechuckpoker Finish Top Two in High Roller Event

Just when we thought the EPT London couldn't possibly be more of a success for PokerStrategists, Philipp 'philgruissem' Gruissem, often known as 'philbort' online, took down the High Roller Event for £450,200 and his second straight EPT High Roller victory.

Gruissem defeated yet ANOTHER PokerStrategist, Igor 'lechuckpoker' Kurganov, heads-up to defeat a final table which included poker pros Olivier Busquet (4th), Sam Trickett (7th), and Michael Tureniec (8th).

That isn't even all- we also just heard that akia won a £2,000 PLO side-event!
