Event #3, a €5,300 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, began on Monday and drew 97 participants. By the end of the day, 25 of them remained - including some of poker's biggest stars.

WSOPE Day 4 highlights

Event #2 leaders - With just 15 left, the top 2 players in Event #2 are both successful pros who already have a WSOP bracelet (or two). In first place is French Antonin Teisseire with 269,500 chips. Teisseire won a WSOP bracelet in 2011 and has over $1.5 million in tournament earnings. In second place is Antonio Esfandiari with 264,000 chips. Esfandiari has 2 WSOP bracelets and over $23 million in lifetime tournament earnings, which places him first on the all-time list.

PokerStrategists cash - Although PokerStrategists Marvin 'xcrash154' Rettenmaier and Dominik 'ace0ntheriver' Nitsche began the day with big stacks, neither reached the final 15 of Event #2. They did, however, make the money - Nitsche finished in 34th to earn €2,608 and Rettenmaier finished in 47th for €2,133.

Event #3 down to 25 - Event #3 is a PLO tournament, and it drew a very tough field of 97 players. The chip leader after its first day is Erich Kollmann with 127,500 chips, but many well-known players are still alive including Michael Mizrachi, Vanessa Selbst, Joe Hachem, and Jason Mercier.

On Tuesday, Events #2 and #3 will continue, and Event #4 - a €3,250 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout tournament - will begin.
