Esfandiari has to beg for food
Just to prove that the all-time money rankings are meaningless, the man who won $18 million at One Drop has had to resort to begging for food money.
Antonio Esfandiari found himself in an airport without any cash or credit cards. Luckily for him it was Las Vegas airport and he was able to use his celebrity status to hustle up his lunch money:

EPT Sanremo latest
At the time of writing just 39 players remain in the penultimate event of the EPT season. Among the hopefuls still in Sanremo there are three players still in contention to become the first ever double-EPT champion - Vicky Coren, Michael Tureniec and Dimitar Danchev.

Tiger Woods WPT Charity Tournament
The Phil Ivey of Golf is set to host another poker tournament. The World Poker Tour are hosting the 2014 Tiger Jam on May 16 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The weekend will include poker, golf and partying, with all money raised going to the Tiger Woods Foundation.
Phil Hellmuth and Antonio Esfandiari are expected to be in attendance. One of the prizes up for grabs is a round of golf with Tiger himself (Presumably Phil was the winner of that one last year).
If you want to attend a package can be all yours for a mere $10,000.

A relatively quiet day at the tables saw Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom emerge as the biggest winner. Perhaps the most surprising part of all about it being that it was just a five-figure profit of $80k, as we are much more used to wins and losses of the half million+ variety from Viktor.
The only player who could boast a six-figure difference to their bankroll yesterday was Hac Dang, who lost $146,821 at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables.
