George Danzer wins third WSOP bracelet of 2014
The German PokerStrategist takes a big lead in the Player of the Year race.

has captured the $5,000 8-Game Mixed bracelet in Melbourne to claim his third bracelet of 2014.
Just 48 players entered this event, however it was a quality field and Danzer defeated a final table that included Scott Clements and Jonathan Duhamel to take down the $84,600 first prize.
With this win Danzer takes a sizeable lead in the WSOP Player of the Year race, with just the $10,000 Main Event (Which has just started) and the $25,000 High Roller left for contenders to score points against him.
More importantly, perhaps for George, he becomes one of the few players in WSOP history to win three bracelets in a single year. An honour he shares with Jeff Lisandro, Phil Ivey, Ted Forrest, Phil Hellmuth and Puggy Pearson.
Congratulations to from everyone at PokerStrategy.com.
