Is this the craziest hand of the 2016 WSOP?
A three way all-in for a bracelet, and that is just the start of it....
The $10,000 Six Handed No Limit Hold'em Championship is one of the most prestigious events on the poker calendar, and it was somewhat overshadowed this year after Chris Ferguson came 4th, at a final table where he was heckled by the rail.
This overshadowed another interesting story, the fact that Justin Bonomo is having an excellent WSOP. He came third in this event, and has now made four final tables at the 2016 WSOP and is a contender for WSOP Player of the Series.
However, the real story of this event should be this insane hand at the end. It is not very often a bracelet is won by virtue of a three-way all-in, but that was just the start of it:
The hand played itself up until Bonomo went all-in, but the interesting question is whether Davidi Kitai was right to shove over the top of him, given that he is calling a 29 big blind shove with a chip leader who has already raised left to act?
Kozlov was raising almost all of his buttons, so it is reasonable to assume that Bonomo might have been shoving light, but is Pocket Sixes ever the hand to take a stand with here?
Whatever your thoughts on Kitai's play, there is little doubt that this is a great situation for Martin Kozlov before the flop, and the stuff dreams are made of after it.
