Unibet to launch Poker 2.0
New software is coming to Unibet which includes updated Challenges, a bonus shop, improved tiling and much more.

Unibet surprised the poker world in 2014 when it announced it was launching its own poker network and since that time it has experienced growth every year, including 37% in the last year, when the industry trend is currently a 20% decline.
This growth looks set to continue as last week, at the Unibet Open event in Copenhagen, the site gave the press a sneak peak into what the second generation version of their software will look like.
The updates which are expected to be rolled out on October 3 include:
- A bonus shop
- Expanded Challenges
- A cleaner more attractive user interface
- Rebuy tournaments
- A hand replayer
- An iPhone client released later this year with all the same features as desktop
- An improved tiling feature which will allow poker to be tiled alongside casino games, sports books, Twitch and more
This all fits into Unibet's ethos of 'By Players, For Players' and the software has been developed by former poker professionals.
Unibet Head of Poker, Andrew West, said “We’re looking forward to showing the world what we’ve been working on, but more importantly, we’re looking forward to improving our client for our players. After the success of our first client, the new release will change the industry once again.”
A large linked promotion is expected to be announced when the new software comes out of Beta testing and officially launched to the global market.
