Tom Dwan returns to televised poker this week

Arguably the most illusive figure in poker will be back playing in front of the cameras this week on the relaunched Poker After Dark.

Showing they are far from just a WSOP streaming site, PokerGO return with original content for the next three evenings with a relaunch of the iconic cash game show Poker After Dark.

Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, Antonio Esfandiari, Jean-Robert Bellande, Andrew Robl, Bill Klein and Lauren Roberts are all expected to play in the streamed $100,000 buy-in $200/$400 game, and they will be joined by none other than Tom 'durrrr' Dwan

Poker After Dark broadcast between 2009 and 2011 but left the airwaves after Black Friday. For the first time ever the show will be streamed live when it returns to PokerGO at 17:00 PT tonight. Nick Schulman will be in the commentary booth with the show's original host Ali Nejad.

Dwan has been missing in action from most online and live games for years now, fueling rumours that he is broke, crushing in Macau and even a joke meme that he has been kidnapped. He has also been noticeably absent from his infamous durrrr Challenge, which we reported last week he has been paying fines for

Will this be the start of a big return for Dwan on the public stage or is it a one off? Let us know your views in the comments:
