PokerStars MEGASTACK makes it to Iberia
The popular low buy-in MEGASTACK festival has announced three new stops in Spain and Portugal, starting with Valencia next month.
PokerStars’ recreational player favourite, the live poker tournament series that is the MEGASTACK, has announced three new stops for its schedule, all of which will take place on the Iberian Peninsula.
Just under one month from now, the city of Valencia will host the first event, at the Casino Cirsa.
This is followed by a trip over the border into Portugal where, just over 20-minutes’ drive from Lisbon is Estoril, whose Casino Estoril is the second venue in the series, hosting live poker from October 4.
Finally, Madrid’s Casino de Juego will stage the third and final Iberian stop from December 7.
Hugely popular tournaments
The low buy-in tournaments have proved popular since the series first launched at London’s Hippodrome Casino. This year, the series has branched out internationally, staging events in Ireland, Malta, France, Belgium and the USA.
The Iberian events promise to be cheap and deep with 50,000 chips awarded for just a €170 buy-in.
There are many ways in which players can qualify for PokerStars MEGASTACK Iberia with online satellites running on PokerStars for as little as €6.
