O.J. Simpson picks up lifetime casino ban
We round up some of the stories you may have missed including Simpson’s ban, a sixth WPT title for Polito and some top level crowd sourcing.
The attorney for O.J. Simpson has admitted that his client, the ex-American Football star and recently paroled convict, has been banned from The Cosmopolitan casino in Las Vegas.
The casino has refused to pass comment on what precluded the ban, but it is alleged that Simpson was acting drunk and unruly. This though has been denied and it is claimed that Simpson, in the presence of his parole officer, underwent drug and alcohol tests the following day which returned negative results.
Currently, Simpson is living in a Las Vegas gated community having been paroled from a Nevada prison after serving nine-years of a potential 33-year sentence for a 1997 armed robbery in the city.

In just four years, Laurent Polito has won six WPT titles after the Frenchman took down the WPTDeepStacks Main Event in the Grand Casino Brussels Viage this week.
For his latest win, Polito goes home with $104, 353 having outlasted the field of 400, all hunting for their slice of the $494,864 prize pool. Of his WPT victories, his largest scoop was the $172,884, also his largest ever cash, collected back in 2014. In all, he has amassed an impressive $1,721,845 in lifetime career earnings.

partypoker fans decide
Last week, partypoker crowdsourced opinions from their players as to the form that the blind level structures will take for their upcoming LIVE main events. The required opinions were sought through the Twitter handle of PokerStrategist and partypoker ambassador Patrick 'pleno1' Leonard who was particularly keen to hear from amateurs.

Leonard put out a chart with the two potential structures that were under consideration. One with 200 BB starting stacks and the other 100 BBs. A few days later a third option had been proposed which included Level 1 starting stacks of 167 BBs, plus the operation of a button ante system which was also included in the first two options.

So far, while nothing has been confirmed by the online poker room, it appears feedback has been mostly positive.
