New MTT schedule coming to iPoker

50% more tournaments, 50% more PKOs, a new table theme and new MTT promotions are coming to iPoker next month.

The iPoker Network is about to launch a new tournament schedule which will see a number of changes including a big increase in small stakes MTTs and a 50% increase in Knockout tournaments.

The weekly schedule will see a 50% increase in tournaments, mostly at the small stakes:

Buy-in Range Buy-in Number of MTTs Previous number
Micro <€1 370 168
Low €1-€9 756 550
Medium €10-€30 265 183
High €50+ 33 30
Total 1,424 931

This will include a number of weekly and Sunday flagship MTTs, most notably a €50 PKO with a €25,000 guarantee every Sunday at 18:30 GMT.

50% more PKOs

The headline difference is that 50% more MTTs on the schedule will be Knockout tournaments. This will include flattening PKO payout structures so the top prizes are not as top heavy as they are right now. Stay tuned to PokerStrategy.com to hear about a special PKO series coming to the network.

Freerolls will now pay out MTT tickets instead of cash in the daily €50 and €100 freerolls.

A number of MTT promotions are on their way to the network including a 'Bubble Bonus Spin' where anyone who bubbles a featured Sunday tournament gets a free spin at a prize wheel. There will also be a special jackpot prize for anyone who makes two final tables of pre-selected tournaments on the same night.

The new changes come into effect on November 4. They will be highlighted by a new martial arts theme to accompany the new KO-centric schedule.
