Lex Live 3 to take place online
You won't be able to play against him in person but fans of Lex Veldhuis can still play in his flagship event this month at PokerStars.
COVID-19 has changed poker in many ways but the cliff notes is that live poker events are cancelled and in some cases have moved online, online poker is booming and online home games are booming even more.
So this announcement is a perfect blend of all three, as the recently cancelled Lex Live 3 is now taking place online at PokerStars.
The event, which is very much the biggest home game in poker, is a series of fun tournaments for the community of King of the poker streamers Lex Veldhuis.
It takes place between April 21 and 26 at PokerStars and features all the same events that were planned at Lex Live 3 in London, including PLO, PKOs, FU Flips and a day for video games.
“I know it’s hard to substitute the whole event and experience… it’s impossible, really. But [hopefully] this is something we can do online that will soften the blow and will make the pain a lot less,” Lex said about the event.

Speaking of live events taking place online. The Irish Open is taking place right now at partypoker where the players will have their real names shown at the table. Day 1A of the €1,100 Main Event attracted 831 players and with four Day 1s overall, this ironically will probably be the biggest Irish Open in poker history.
