GGPoker to host 18 WSOP-C events online

You can win circuit rings next month over a three week festival in official partnership with the World Series of Poker.

While there is still great uncertainty over whether the 2020 World Series of Poker will happen, global poker liquidity players will at least be able to play for WSOP Circuit Rings this year.

GGPoker have been announced as the host of the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series next month. It will feature hundreds of tournaments as well as 18 WSOP-C events which will award WSOP Circuit Rings. The Main Event winner and overall leaderboard points winner will also be invited to the $1,000,000 freeroll World Series of Poker Global Casino Championship official bracelet event.

The dates and schedule are yet to be confirmed but the series is expected to last three weeks. 

Chasing rings online

“I’m thrilled to reveal that GGPoker will be hosting the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series in partnership with World Series of Poker,” said Jean-Christophe Antoine, Head of GGPoker. “A GGPoker and WSOP partnership brings together two like-minded global organisations, and I can’t wait to see GGPoker players competing for WSOP Circuit rings online!”

GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu added, “I give credit to the WSOP for bringing the circuit online during these trying times. Winning a circuit ring is a great honour. Online players will love the experience of chasing rings at GGPoker.”

The WSOP Circuit is a global tour under the brand of the World Series of Poker, which awards rings instead of bracelets. It will be interesting to note if this is the first of many global poker rooms that host such a festival, given that 888poker are typically the online partner associated with the WSOP and home of the WSOP satellites.
