King's Casino reopens for poker

Live poker is back, albeit with face masks and lots of restrictions, in the Czech Republic.

While live poker looks a long way off for most people, King's Casino in Prague has reopened for table games including poker cash games. This follows a number of restrictions being lifted in the Czech Republic, including allowing groups of 10 people being permitted to gather. 

The restaurant is not open yet, with an outside 'pop-up' grill in its place, as food is currently not allowed in the casino unless it is in a sealed container. The hotel is also currently closed. Poker tournaments are not happening as yet. 

Face masks in all areas

King's Casino has published safety guidelines, which include:

Everyone needs to wear a face mask in all areas.

As soon as someone leaves a spot a delegated person will immediately proceed to disinfect this area prior to another players use.

Face shields will be given to all employees and also will be at the reception in case someone needs to borrow one.

Hand sanitizers will be made available for all guests throughout the casino. 

As yet no foreign players will be permitted in the casino following Czech lockdown rules as well as the club's own position on not allowing Italian players in the venue. 

It appears that all poker cash games will be no more than six max. In Las Vegas the current recommended guidelines is that they are no more than four max. 

King's Resort over 600 staff and CEO Leon Tsoukernik has already publicly stated that there will be no layoffs.
