The US WSOP Main Event final table has formed
Nine players remain in the second leg of the Main Event and there is a rumour one player has not travelled to the International final table.
705 players have become nine and we are just 18 players overall (17 actually, keep reading) from finding out who the 2020 World Series of Poker Main Event champion is.
Joseph "kolebear" Hebert is the chip leader heading to the Rio and he is joined by Upeshka "gomezhamburg" De Silva who is looking to win his 4th career bracelet.
One of these players will become a millionaire and playing heads-up for the Championship at the end of the year. The blinds paused at 80,000/160,000.

The players will now reconvene at the Rio on December 28 where they will play down to a winner, after which the champion will face the winner of tonight's International final table in Rozvadov.
Speaking of that International final table, as a lot of people predicted it doesn't look like everyone has made it there. As KevMath confirms below, Chinese player Peiyuan "fish3098" Sun has decided not to travel to the event and will therefore be taking 9th place money.

He was joint bottom in chips with 11 big blinds and probably had logistically the toughest travel prospects even if he did not test positive for COVID.
