The World Poker Tour Championship starts today

The FOMO event of 2022 is back today as the World Poker Tour Championship gets underway at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

Four day ones between now and December 16 in the $10,400 event, which this year boasts a $40 million guarantee. 

All the talk was about which event would 'win' the battle for live poker supremacy in December. Now, with remarkable numbers coming from the Bahamas, Prague, and Vegas, it looks like this event could be huge once again. 

The Main Event concludes on December 21. Last year Elliot Hudon defeated a field of 2,960 for $4,416,000. The one thing we know for sure is that the first prize will be bigger this year.
