Polymarket partners with the Wall Street Journal
Another major financial and news organisation has thrown their hat into the ring of the world of prediction markets.

In yet another partnership between prediction markets and major news operators, Polymarket has become an exclusive data provider for Dow Jones Media Group, the owner of the Wall Street Journal.
The market's data will feature in the Wall Street Journal, Barron's and Investor's Business Daily, both online and print editions.
The Wall Street Journal has a daily print circulation of almost 500,000 a day, with even more readers online.
"As part of the partnership, Dow Jones will introduce new consumer-facing features incorporating prediction market data, including a custom earnings calendar highlighting market-implied expectations around corporate performance. Additional data-driven experiences are expected to launch over time,” a spokesperson for Dow Jones Media Group said.
Part of the lexicon of finance in 2026

This is one of many prediction market partnerships with news organisations. Polymarket also has a partnership with Yahoo Finance, while Kalshi has partnerships with CNN and CNBC. Both prediction markets have their data integrated into Google Finance search results.
In keeping with the financial theme, Polymarket received a $2 billion investment from the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. They also partnered this week with Parci to bring real estate markets to the site.
With so many partnerships with major financial institutions, it comes as no surprise that this week, Google updated their Ads policy to treat prediction markets as financial services, rather than gambling products.
It appears that in 2026, prediction markets are going to become part of the lexicon for how we talk about news, politics and finance, as it seems every major news and financial organisation wants to become part of this growing industry.
