Bert ‘GirafGanger’ Stevens welcomed as latest CoinPoker pro
The Belgian former WSOP Online Main Event winner Bert Stevens, also known as ‘girafganger7’ has been added to an already impressive team pro roster at CoinPoker.

CoinPoker’s continued moves to grow their team of sponsored players has added an online poker legend. The Belgian poker professional Bert Stevens, commonly known as ‘girafganger7’, has joined CoinPoker pledging to stream between three or four times a week. The return to Twitch streaming last week after nine months off, hinted at Stevens joining CoinPoker with the addition of their tournaments into his schedule. Now the news is confirmed.
CoinPoker’s recent software upgrade inspired plenty of streamers to try out their new site and Stevens joining their pro team is sure to convince many more to give them a shot. The former WSOP Online Main Event winner will align well with some of the newest members of the CoinPoker stable, with the award-winning content creator Abby Merk jumping on board along with rap star Papo MC and Game of Gold star Yohan ‘YoH ViraL’ Guilbert both becoming CoinPoker ambassadors in recent weeks.
Here's how the announcement was made on Stevens’ account:

Former WSOP Online Main Event winner to inspire Twitch fanbase

As recently as three years ago, Bert Stevens won the biggest tournament of his career. In 2023, the Belgian pro outlasted a field of 6,022 other entries in the $5,000 buy-in WSOP Online Main Event. Winning a record-breaking top prize of $2,783,433 and the fabled gold WSOP bracelet, Stevens’ victory moment went viral as the quaint loft-space in his Belgian barn was transformed into a scene of vibrant celebration.

Winning millions of dollars in that event, many fans clamoured for GGPoker to make Stevens a sponsored pro at that time. Instead, Stevens continued as a free agent, only signing with CoinPoker now. His joining their team will be seen as a real coup, not least because he won the top prize in the world record $28,609,252 prize pool Main WSOP Online Main Event three years ago.
Stevens is a poker pro whose allegiances are firmly entrenched in the online streets. While he’s cashed for almost $100,000 in live events such as the 2024 EPT Monte Carlo Mystery Bounty Event and the 2024 Irish Open, it’s possible that Stevens will attend this year’s Irish Open which takes place between March 26th and April 6th in Dublin. Other than that event, however, you can expect Stevens to focus his attentions where he has won millions of dollars - playing online poker, and more specifically, on CoinPoker.
