Hey guys,

I have a question. Thinking about buying new monitor.

I'm playing 4 tables of zoom, planning 6 tabling in future. And can't decide whether to buy 1920x1200 24 inch or 1920x1080 27 inch monitor.

Prices are the same.

Can you help me ?

See this thread.

But as for fitting specifically 6 tables onto the screen so that they're bigger... The aspect ratio of the tables is ~4:3. To make the tiling 3 tables wide without overlaps, you'll need to resize each so that their width is not more than 1920/3=640 pixels. Then their height needs to be 640*3/4=480 or less. So a screen height of 960 or more will be enough, leave alone 1080. So again, there's no sense in looking for height 1200.

In case you're fine with some horizontal overlap of tables, I think it's OK to make it not more than 1/6 of the table width, otherwise you won't be able to see hole cards at all tables at once - they'll be closed at some by their neighbours. In this case, the maximum feasible table width jumps from 640 to 720 pixels, and then again you'll have no vertical overlap even at 1920x1080 because the tables will be 720x540.

(Most major sites allow for table resizing down to like 490x368, except Unibet that has ~640x480 as the minimum size.)

The inches dosen't change how many tables you can fit on one screen! 1920x1080 = 12 stacked tables.

You should go for this bad boy! http://www.amazon.com/Dell-SP2309W-23-Inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B001TH7FAQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1395613865&sr=8-7&keywords=2048x1152+monitor I almost bought it myself ^^

Well i have Samsung 21.5 inch 1920x1080, but selling it to my friend, and i want to have 4 default sized tables of zoom, since on my 1920x1080 they're slightly minimized, with 1920x1200 they'll be default size yes ?

Is there a VGA port on it?
Is it enabled in the the setup?

What operating system?

Does Dell have any knowledge base articles or drivers that might be needed?

In the worst case, there are USB devices you can use to connect a 2nd (or even 3rd) monitor.

Best of luck,
