It's very hard to answer that in general, but a flop 3-bet (that's what it is called) should not put you off your top pair. So usually you should call and continue to call on the turn and river.

However, if there is another raise on the turn or river, you should very often let go and fold your hand.

I guess it also depends on the preflopaction, your kickercard, how high your Toppair is (when 7 is the highest card on the board, and you hit toppair, then its not as strong as a pair of aces as a toppair) and it also depends on the Board...imagine there is a 3-suited board and you do "only" have toppair and none of the suits of the board.
