Hey Xzaar,

Everest is definitely very fishy. If you want to move for fishyness, I'd advice to go to 888poker.

With your playing volume however you'd get more "rakeback" returns if you would move to Betfair (ongame) or William Hill (iPoker).

With the Gemstone promotion you would get most returns by playing on William Hill as you could easily gather at least 1 gemstone per month which would give you also a $150 bonus per gemstone in january & february. Of the 3 suggested rooms, this is the least soft though.

If you'd move to Betfair, you can clear the first deposit bonus & participate in our $50.000 rake race there.

I think you should leave a small part of your bankroll on Stars if you wanna play the mixed tournaments, as the offer for those on other rooms is not very big.

For your cashgameplay you could switch to iPoker, for example Poker770 or Titan Poker were you can profit from the VIP-system.

If you want a fixed rakeback, as you're not looking for a longterm plan, you could also move to Unibet or Poker Heaven. Here you will get a fixed 30%, so you always know what you can expect ♠_cool:

i plan on staying at the site for long time
not pokerstars or pkrheaven
i would like to play on very fishy plo all across the limits
i would prefer flat rbif possible but its not neccesary since i plan tp stay on the site if i will like it
also prefering auto top up, 4colour deck and prefered seat
but the fishes at omaha thus big winrate is main thing
im deciding between microgaming and ongame and between rooms would be best at these networks
but im really open to any idea, would also be happy if with response there would be arguments why that specific network and room

If you also regularly play SnG's with a buy-in of less then $1, Everest Poker is a good room to play as they offer micro SnG's with low rake on the <$1 level and very weak players.

If you're planning to move up in stakes soon however, I would suggest to play on EuroPoker or bwin. You'll find enough games to move through the limits until you reach the higher midstakes games.

PokerStars is a bad choice for me? or playing back on FTP if they come back online? i know on PokerStars its harder, but to improve on a regular basis is important i think to play against better players, and i fishes drive me crazy sometimes they're just calling station with very wide range and doesn't matter how much i raise preflop i know usualy they will feed me but.. also really enjoyed Rush Poker on FTP and i heard that PokerStars is planning to run a similiar project, or what about Party Poker?

I currently play at Everest but I was surprised to see the amount of rake I have paid. Currently of 13501 NL $5 hands at Everest I have a win rate of 13.56 bb/100 and I have paid rake at 12.24 bb/100. I have a VPIP of 14.8 so its not even like I'm loose. I'd really like to cut down on this amount of rake payment. The rake back also isn't good enough, i'm currently getting about 1.29bb/100 effectively in rake back. I'm not worried about the competition, i just need a room where I can save on so much rake being payed out. Please advise a room I could move to. Thanks.

12bb/100 at NL5 is not a lot of rake at all.

Its 60 cents lol.. Say it takes you 10 minutes to play the 100 hands - that means you pay 60 cents for 10 minutes of pleasure. Imagine if hookers were that cheap.

I remember reading somewhere that at PokerStars you get raked effectively about 7-8bb/100(adjusting for rakeback). That would mean an additional winnings of about 4-5bb/100 is thats true. So I wanted to know if there are some other rooms where the effective rake after adjusting for rakeback is lower.

i am looking to switch rooms.
somehow just fed up with stars.
so i am looking for a room with a very good RB.
and i am from india so some rooms do not offer their services here.

Hey ProfiNub,

PokerStars isnt bad per se. In the beginning is think it's nicer to build your bankroll up a bit. On the lowest limits the players are generally not that good anywhere, but you want to move up as well.

If you are already playing on Stars you can also get your bankroll there up to $150 so you can move up to the next limit and then change to one of the Ongame skins, so you can try your new limit and clear the bonus at the same time.

I think analysing your game, posting hands on the forum and discussing the game on our forums will improve your game much faster then playing somewhat better opponents. Learning to cope with bad beats is important anyway on the long run (eventough it can be very frustrating at times ♠_biggrin: )

Hey Tsukk,

Depening on how many tables you play simultaneously, iPoker, for example William Hill or Poker770, are very good for you because they have some more PLO traffic compared to Ongame and Microgaming on all times and they have good VIP-systems if you plan there long term.

If you don't play many tables at the same time & can mix limits you can play on Ongame/Microgaming. For Microgaming I'd suggest to choose Unibet, because you'll profit from the 30% loyalty bonus.

If you want to move and keep the same fishyness, I'd suggest to move to 888poker.

DafaPoker would also be a very good choice. This room is mainly focused on the Asian market and for our players there we organize a monthly rake chase which gives you up to 25% rakeback which gives you a very good boost ofcourse, especially when you move up to NL10.

DafaPoker is an Asian iPoker-skin. So traffic is shared with the iPoker network. They only accept players from Asia however.

Unibet is more fishy, but the traffic on iPoker is better especially when moving up to the higher limit.

Trafficwise I would suggest to move to iPoker instead of Everest Poker for PLO games (also depending on how many tables you play at the same time), for example William Hill or Poker770.

If yo don't play too may tables at the same time and are looking for more fishyness, a move to Unibet is attractive as well, because there you'll also profit from the 30% loyalty bonus.
