A lot of tables broke and we are down to 138 player from 208.

The table Fabstinho, Bagger0405 and Tonding broke as well.

Bagger0405 has a lot of chips, Malte currently has 130k in chips, which is 3.5 times average(46k)

Fabstinho has exactly 46k.

We can't exactly tell how much Tonding has, but he moved to a table with Freddy Deeb.

Florian Langmann and Sebastian Ruthenberg are now sitting next to each other on a new table.

None of the players we've mentioned at the start of the day have busted so far.

I tried to freak out Robbie and tell him Allanon was busted but the chips at his seat kinda gave away he was just going for a 10 second walk.
Truth is he lost a pot, won a pot, and now has a stack of 60k.

A nice view at Allanon's table

Allanon talking to Onkelhotte

Sebastian Ruthenberg and Morgoth playing at the same table

Allanon just busted...

5 hands left to play someone opened early (8 handed) and MP who has a huge stack 3bets him. Allanon looks at AK on the BB and shoves his remaining 27BB stack 27k). MP takes a long time to think and eventually calls with JJ. Flop and turn bring 3 hearts giving MP a flushdraw reducing Allanon's outs to 4. River's a blank and Allanon gets off the table just 5 minutes before the tournaments ends.

Chip counts and some final pictures of day 1, as well as the recap news is coming up soon.

At the end of the tournament, Fixed Limit hero Yoghi finally sat down at the tables.
He managed to exchange his Hong Kong dollars even though they ripped him of for 1k euro's and he played some 1000NL. When I asked if him if he was up or down he said he didn't know and shrugged his shoulders.
If he finds someone who can lend him some cash soon then maybe there's a chance he will be playing the Main Event tomorrow, if it's not sold out yet, which they're expecting it to be.

Yoghi was dissapointed they didn't allow him to straddle

7-2 rule did make him laugh though

Near the end of a tournament day, the clock is stopped and every table plays the same amount of hands.

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing this again on day 2.

The guy who busted Allanon. Ironically, I made this picture just before they played the hand because I was impressed by his large chipstack.

Benny 'Psychobenny' Spindler, 3rd place finisher at last year's PCA. We kinda forget about him, sorry.

"Yeah, I won a pot, nice..."

Ah alright, pretty much like the 7-2 Hold'em variant Cereus implemented a few weeks ago then I guess.

Goodmorning guys (and maybe some girls out there), how did you sleep?

We're getting ready to have breakfast, hopefuly a better than the one we had yesterday (was a complete rip off). After that we'll head over to the casino to report as many cool stories about day 1b as we can. And YES we'll try to find Fatima for you (before she busts out preferably). Something about her just tells me her poker skill wasn't her nr1 quality.

Always nice to have position on the fish. Demidov is at his table too but I forgot to take pictures.

EPT leaderboard leader and Guiness World Record holder Bertrand "Elky" Gorspellier

Here's our other guy Trader

He's in good company

I don't think Marcel likes me though

Team PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu. I made like 20 pictures of him but then I had to get back because I forgot the flash drive. He was on to me.

Last year's EPT San Remo winner Constant Rijkenberg

Scotty "baby" Nguyen

Nazgul has a very nice table, with Demidov, Elky and Boris Becker!

He has a very good start as well. He opened from utg with pocket kings, he gets a 3bet from mp2 or so. Boris Becker cold called the three bet.

The small blind decided to 4bet and Nazgul flat calls. The other two players went out.

Flop comes 886 with one spade on it. Sb checks Nazgul bets 1.5k or so.

Turn comes 5s and the action went check check.

River was 2s and SB checks, Nazgul bets 2.5k and SB calls.

Nazgul shipped another pot where he 4bet and is currently up to 52k.

Pokernoob

Preflop Action unknown.

J85 Flop rainbow with 4 players on the flop. Lika bet 2.2k into the pot and Pokernoob flat calls and so do the two players behind him. The pot is now about 13k.

Turn comes a deuce of clubs giving a club flushdraw on the board. Lika checks to Pokernoob and he bets 9k. Directly after Pokernoob folded and the last player to act called the 9k. Like folded as well so heads up to the river.

River K of hearts. Pokernoob pushed and the last guy thinks for a while and then decided to lay his hand down.

Pokernoob shipped around 20k for himself in that pot and is now up to 50k which easily places him on the top of the field this early.
