just some quick updates from Event #51 and Event #52,
vedevas is now in the final 10 of his event, blinds are 8k/16k and he has around ~550k chips. He lost a big chunk of his stack after 4-betting preflop and folding after the 3-bettor went all-in
in the $25k, philbort lost some chips and is no longer in the chip lead but still has over 500k chips in his stack. zwacke meanwhile has well over 300k chips now. around 60 players left now, blinds 1.5k/3k

philbort has around 500k chips now while zwacke around 110k
zwacke told me that he had to call there on the big hand where he flopped top two.
He said villain could lead out with a lot of pairs, and might also stick it in with A high flush draws. So he had to go for it. There was also a possibility that he could get a lot of hands to fold which had equity against him.
I saw philbort take down a nice pot against Abe Mosseri a while ago.
Flop 6:h J:d 2:c, Mosseri checks, philbort bets around 12.5k, Mosseri makes it 25k, philbort calls. Turn was the 7:h, Mosseri leads out for 40k, philbort makes it 96.5k and Moseeri folds.
In the $3k triple chance, vedevas has made it into the final nine, here are the seat assignments and chip counts

There was a nice pot where vedevas pushed villain off with an all in bet on the turn. The board was 3 6 T ♠:s Q:s, vedevas had raised preflop from EP, and bet the flop after villain checked. villain donked the turn for about 60% of pot size, vedevas went all in ad villain folded.
In the $25k 6-max event. zwacke had doubled up vs freddy deeb with AA vs AQ but is still quite short stacked. Blinds are now 2.5k/5k with 500 ante. Just 46 players left.
zwacke has a bit less than150k chips, while philbort hasn't really gotten much going today and now has 460k
as the final table just started, vedevas had already made a big double up to up to over 1.5 million shipc.
Will Fallia raised from MP, vedes calls, welch calls, Darcourt calls and vedevas went all in. All folded to welch who went all-in over the top, and Darcourt open mucked 55. AK vs 99.
A 5 came on the flop and a K on the river, and vedevas made a nice double up.
Guillaume Darcourt then made a pretty questionable call pre-flop but knocked out two opponents. Tad Jurgens went all-in, Noel Scruggs also all-in, all fold, Darcourt tanks and calls. Jurgens QQ, Scruggs AQ, Darcourt 77. He made a set on the flop to double up.
Darcourt was cheering pretty hard after the suckout, walking around the table and high-fiving his railsers. A French reporter looked at me after that and said, "WTF, he's not Fench"
A couple of hands after that he called another all-in from Ryan Welch on the flop. Welch had AK but Darcourt had K9:d:d with a flush draw and a gutshot. Darcourt missed and Welch doubled up.
Not long after that, Vedevas knocked out Tommy Vedes in seventh place. All in pre-flop 88 vs A9, the board blanked both and Vedes was out. vedevas should have around 2 million chips now. I think he is 2nd or 3rd in chips now with 6 players left

zwacke has already busted out after open showing QJ and ran into Steven Kelly's AK.
philbort has around 400k chips now. He stopped getting his massage. hopefully he will get going again after this.
When i dropped by philbort's table, Dominykas Karmazinas was bad mouthing ADZ. Apparently he busted ADZ with A2 vs AJ, and ADZ got really annoyed after losing the hand and sent him a pretty bad sms "He has no manners. If he can't afford to lose, he shouldn't be playing"

Vedevas lost two thirds of his stack in the hand below. He opened CO to 54k, Ryan Welch calls from the BB.
Flop 6:h T:s 9:h, Welch donks 100k, Vedevas makes it 270k, Welch goes all in and Vedevas calls
A:c T:d vs A:h 8:h. The 3:h came on the turn to end it. For what it's worth a 7 came on the river to also complete Welch's straight.
Vedevas was down to around 550k after that hand and became the shortest stack on the table. They went on a short break after that.
Not too much big action after the short break.
Final update from Event #51, Guillame Darcourt back to back big hand 3 times in a row to double up, then knock out vedevas and finally Bradley Craig. All the hands were all in preflop.
First it was against Ryan Welch, AQ vs AJ. Welch has Darcourt covered so Darcourt doubled up.
Then against vedevas, Darcourt raised, vedevas went all in and it was AK vs AJ. The board ran out T T 9 T K, and vedevas is out in sixth place picking up $91,407.
In the very next hand, Craig raised, Darcourt re-raised, Craig went all in and Darcourt called. 99 vs A8 and the pair help up.
Darcourt is a huge chip leader now.
The $10k PLO Championship event has also just started, 3 PokerStrategists are playing in it. They are on dinner break now and i will try to catch up with them later.

Barry was crippled in the hand right before that, Frank Kassela raised the CO, Barry re-raised from the BB, and Kassela snap called.
Flop T:d 5:s Q:d, Barry cut out 100k, Kassela went all in and Bary snap called.
AA vs A:d 8:d, Kassela made the flush on the river.
during a recent 20 minute break. philbort told me that he is still feeling good because his table is pretty soft, he thought Kassela, Greenstein and Heather Mercer were pretty weak, and he was getting away with button raises a lot. Hopefully another weak spot with lots of chips sits down after Barry went bust.
He hasn't been getting any cards for the past few hours, and the best hand he had was pocket eights.
