0.25/0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant.Base 0.98 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 8♥, 8♣
UTG1 calls, UTG2 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, CO calls, 3 folds, UTG1 calls.

Flop: (7.40 SB) Q♦, T♣, 7♥ (3 players)
UTG1 checks, Hero checks, CO bets, 2 folds, CO gets uncalled bet back.

Should I CBet-call, then check-fold in this spot? Even though i have some show down value, most draws will be overcards or i'm already behind.
Final Pot: 3.70 BB

I would b/f the flop. You could be ahead, you get information with the bet and you might get some overcards to fold. If you get CO to fold, you're in position on the turn and can decide whether to bet again for free SD or to check behind.

yes. by checking and facing a bet you don't have good information about your opponents hand. he could bet a draw once you showed weakness but when they face a bet people use to be less inclined to raise with draws and your opponents may even bet with A7. bet/fold is a good line. :)
