Depends on the opponent ,this is a hand I would raise as bluff some portion of the time

What kind of opponent would you do this against?

Standard would be ATo call and ATs 3bet. If someone openraise a ton on button and folding to 3bet a ton of his range obv we can 3bet wide as a defend.

Against an opponent who is betting from BTN alot but doesn’t have a huge VPIP or always call, its nice to take the pot down pre-flop. If the opponent is a fish who calls a ton I would rather play IP and only 3-bet premium range. Against a player who I’ve seen fold to aggression or less VPIP 3-betting is better, its even better if you have their fold to 3-bet stats .. I try to look for their tendancies and adjust, some people will snap fold to 3-bet on btn that makes me want to continue doing it. Some players may call a lot pre but fold flop a bunch, it all depends. Have to be observant

This a good portion of the time. Sometimes you'll have blinds left to act that like to squeeze in these spots if you just call from BTN... if that is the case, then it becomes more 3-bet or fold.

Hero is in the SB. I'm more likely to call with ATs pre-flop than with ATo out of position. ATs has more playability post-flop.

somehow i thought hero is in the BB. In SB 3bet or fold makes sense. 3beting ATo in SB vs BTN vs more loose player who steals the blinds often makes sense.

vs big fish I would call, vs many other people I would just fold... a bit tough to play OOP. I would 3bet this vs like tight nitty guys if I have tight image myself.
