JJ action preflop

First off, I'm not a fan of small open raises — except possibly from BTN where you want to keep the 3Bet from the blinds small enough to call. With the small raise, you give decent odds to the remaining players to call, and often you get family pots with Kx, Ax and the like and like.

Pretty much nothing you can do in this particular hand is going to change things, but I do like the jam w/ JJ, since BU can have a wide range with his ISO range.

Hero makes a 5x raise and that's pretty big. Villains min 3bet is really suspicious. Read less I would 4bet to like 60c and re-evaluate on further action. Now you make a huge shove and I expect you get only action of better if you do that.

I like it. With so many qualified i like the shove pre. This min 3bet most of the time indicate weakness. Fishy play.

This seems right from what I've seen.

Players don't tend to like to go multi way with AA KK or QQ and they tend to either 3bet to a normal size or bump it up slightly. Getting it in seems okay imo. I've been called by JT, QT, KT, 22-TT Ax etc.

Min 3bet seems fishy indeed, but some villains can play this move as a trap as well. This is a example of this, but I don't think if you 4bet to like 60c that you get to many tough post-flop spots with in mind you have only $1,40 left and decent change you can shove on most turns without any over cards on it.

You could see a lot of ugly flops with pocket JJ. You'll see an overcard often and if V shows aggression you'll have hard time.Without information of V's postflop tendencies whatever we do will be wrong. Shove in this spot okay.

I like the preflop jam with JJ. As said above you have fold equity and you take out the play OOP mw on ugly boards.

I would rather opt for the 4-bet and would fold if villain shoves over it.

The equilab % are decent 4-way, but what if we take the 2 callers out of the equation? I often find JJ to do very poorly vs a preflop shove.

I don't think if Hero 4bets will play multi way to often or all players are really fishy and thats not a big issiue and you can always slowdown with over cards on the board.

I always feel that shoving here will isolate me against premium since I am shoving from UTG. Considering its NL2 it is ok to shove.
